What happens after my treatment?

Mr. Blewitt will be responsible for the preoperative evaluation and assessment of your problem, the operative procedure itself and immediate post-operative care. Most Orthopaedic Surgical Procedures carried a success rate of over 80%. No surgical procedure has a 100% success rate.

Inevitably there will be some people in whom symptoms remain persistent, despite treatment.Often ongoing symptoms can be managed through explanation understanding and continued rehabilitation with an anticipated progressive gradual recovery into the future. On very rare occasions further surgery may be required. Mr. Blewitt will undertake your continued care out into the future.

Surgery usually results in a successful outcome with resolution of symptoms, return to function and strength allowing the ability of "getting on with life" Mr Blewitt offers a continued open appointment through his clinic for potential future problems. Over the years Mr Blewitt has seen and successfully treated many people who have developed the same condition in their other limb some years after successful treatment.

Mr Blewitt offers an open appointment through his clinic for all previous patients out into the future.
